An established Oral Health Disparities Group at Case Western Reserve University is looking for a qualified person to fill a Research Associate position. The candidate will be responsible for research activities related to an NIH and PCORI funded grants and, assist in training of study staff in qualitative and quantitative research methods, and development of the protocol, and manual of procedures. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the funded grants including refinement of interventions, recruitment, data collection, and retention activities, as well as preparing scientific reports. The responsibilities of the position also include maintaining collaborative relationships with investigators, centers, community partners, pediatric primary care offices, stakeholders, other academic and clinical institutions. We seek a highly motivated and dependable individual to expand the mission of oral health disparities research in diverse populations, and pursue scholarly activities. A strong background in the qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and the design and conduct of clinical research is highly desirable.
Qualifications should include a PhD in any of these areas: Health Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Epidemiology, Public Health or a related field.
