The Department of Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Statistics at Case Western Reserve University seeks qualified candidates for a one-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, for Academic Year 2020-2021. Research specialization is open, with a preference given to candidates whose research interests align with the current faculty and who are prepared to teach upper level undergraduate or beginning graduate courses. A strong commitment to research and publication, demonstrated teaching excellence, and concern for issues of diversity are essential. Candidates must have Ph.D. in hand by July 1, 2020.
The position may be renewable for a second year, depending upon curricular needs and budgetary approval.
