Case Western Reserve University’s Day of Giving is Tuesday, April 4. During this 24-hour crowdfunding event, alumni, faculty, family and friends work together to inspire support for the programs and opportunities that enrich the CWRU student experience.

Every dollar makes a difference and there are many reasons to give:

1. Advance research and innovation in countless fields

From changing the way we treat sickle cell disease to reducing microplastics in our water supply, groups across campus are tackling tough issues facing society today. Donor support helps provide faculty and students with the resources necessary to conduct rigorous research, apply for grant funding, establish interdisciplinary collaborations and invent technology that could change the world.

2. Invest in the next generation of leaders and thinkers

Your gift to Case Western Reserve University directly impacts students. Beyond funding campus resources and facility upkeep, annual contributions fuel scholarship support—making a CWRU education accessible to the brightest minds, regardless of financial circumstances.

3. Bolster CWRU’s reputation

When you give back to Case Western Reserve University, you send a message that you value your education. Strong alumni support plays a key role in national rankings, which in turn help attract and retain faculty, students and staff who think beyond the possible. Plus, as CWRU’s reputation grows, so does the value of your diploma.
