Donald Foster (ADL '50)

Donald Foster (ADL '50) was awarded the Newton D. Baker Award for his more than 30 year involvement and service to The Village Network (TVN), formerly known as Boys Village in Smithville, Ohio and for his involvement and vision serving as co-chair in the fundraising for the Alumni House in 2007 with Dr. Ted Castele. TVN has grown from a small organization serving troubled boys near Wooster, Ohio, to a statewide organization serving troubled children and their families that provides residential, day treatment, foster care, and a host of other services. At CWRU, he was president of Phi Gamma Delta, President of Student Council, and is a lifetime member of the Spartan Club, having wrestled as a student. Donald Foster is emblematic of the life of Newton D. Baker, who encouraged everyone to give of their time, talent and service to the community.
