| George Cochrane Hazelton Jr. was born in 1868 and died in 1921. He
was probably son of George Cochrane Hazelton, Member of Wisconsin
state senate, 1867; U.S. Representative from Wisconsin, 1877-83.
In addition to The Yellow Jacket, Hazelton was author and coauthor of several other fiction books and plays. Mistress Nell; a merry tale of a merry time ('twixt fact and fancy) (New York, C. Hazelton, George Cochrane (1832-1922) Nephew of Clark Betton Cochrane; brother of Gerry Whiting Hazelton. Born in Chester, N.H., January 3, 1832. Member of Wisconsin state senate, 1867; U.S. Representative from Wisconsin, 1877-83. Died September 4, 1922. Interment at Vale Cemetery, Schenectady, N.Y. |
