ORIGIN TIPS

1. Use the LAYOUT page.

Click File-New-Layout Page

Then click Layout and position your graphs, worksheet and text on the page.

2. Use the Script Box

You can use the Script Box as a quick calculator.

E.g., type 3*2=, hit ENTER.

The program will add a semi-colon ';' and type 3*2=6 as the bottom line in the window.

You also can define values in the Script Box for use in a worksheet.

E.g. type x=pi/2 (ENTER)

The value x will be set and can be used in a "Set Column Values" calculation.

To check that the value is set, type x= (ENTER)

Note: If you change a setting, you must delete the semi-colon and hit enter to make the change take effect.
