Case CCC Seeking Director of Research Programs (Senior Research Associate)

The Case Comprehensive Cancer Center (Case CCC), an NCI-designated cancer center in the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), invites candidates to apply for the role of Director of Research Programs (Senior Research Associate).

The Director of Research Programs will work closely with the Case CCC Director and Scientific Program Leaders, serving as a subject matter expert on scientific and technical grant writing for researchers and non-research staff to develop, direct and manage a variety of programs and funding opportunities in the Case CCC designed to build collaborative research in cancer.

The Director of Research Programs will also work closely with the Director and administration to identify and develop new grant opportunities for Case CCC Principal Investigators and implement an overall strategy for developing federally funded programs that meet the needs of the Case CCC and its membership. The Director of Research Programs will be responsible for advanced level writing and critical review in support of faculty members of the Case CCC, to ensure that scientific communications (abstracts, manuscripts, protocols, and those in particular grant applications) are of the highest quality and contribute to the Cancer Center’s reputation for academic and research excellence.
