Research Interests

My research focuses on a better understanding of the biology of an aggressive childhood cancer, medulloblastoma. Specifically, I have been interested in various aspects of the host and tissue immune responses towards this highly malignant tumor. My goal through this project is to define the mechanisms by which medullobastoma achieves immune evasion capacity and seek potential immunotherapeutic interventions. Ultimately, I am interested in applying immunotherapeutic insights towards cancers that affect the adolescent and young adult (AYA) population.
