Ali Vaziri-Gohar earned a BS degree in Biomedical Sciences from Shahid Beheshti University and an MS degree in Biochemistry from Kerman University of Medical Sciences, Iran. He completed his PhD in Molecular Biology from New Mexico State University in 2015. Dr. Vaziri-Gohar performed postdoctoral research fellowship in Jordan Winter’s and Jonathan Brody’s laboratory in Thomas Jefferson University from 2016 to 2018. He joined the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine to continue his fellowship in September 2018. Dr. Vaziri-Gohar is particularly interested in studying metabolism to determine the metabolic vulnerabilities in cancer cells.
