Dr. Sanjeev Shukla completed his BS and MS from Lucknow University, India, and doctorate from Kanpur University, India. Dr Shukla later joined Case Western Reserve University in 2002, and obtained an Instructor position in 2008, in the Department of Urology at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.
Dr. Shukla is the reviewer of various scientific journals and has authored approximately 40 publications including book chapters, review articles and scientific papers published in viz., Cancer Research, FASEB Journal, Clinical Cancer Research, Neoplasia and Molecular Cancer Therapeutics. His prestigious work was also highlighted in Cancer Research journals and as well as in various highlighted scientific press releases. He presented his work in various national and international meeting as an invited speaker, and also chaired international scientific sessions.
Dr Shukla's research focus is mainly on prostate cancer, and involves both basic and translational. The basic side of his research is to develop early detection markers for prostate cancer, whereas, on the translational side the approach is to find novel agents that could be developed as potential chemopreventive and therapeutic agents for prostate cancer.
