Limited Submission: Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research

Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research invites the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center to nominate two applicants for their junior faculty grant program. The Case CCC may nominate one researcher who is conducting mainstream or conventional research and one who is conducting complementary or integrative research.

Internal Selection Process:

Investigators should submit Letter of Intent (one page, template available) and an NIH-style biosketch through the InfoReady application form by Monday, July 11, 2022.

Case Comprehensive Cancer Center leadership will review all applicants. Selected nominees will work with their department research administrators and the Case CCC to submit full applications to the sponsor before August 26, 2022.


Applicants must:
• Have an MD or PhD
• Hold a junior faculty position at a 501(c)(3) teaching research institution with NCI designation
• Hold the designation of Assistant Professor (Associate Professors may also apply for *Integrative* projects only)
• Have institutional support in form of tenure track OR be an independent junior faculty member
• Have held their current position no longer than five years (for conventional projects only)
• Clearly state that they have both independent research projects and independent resources
• Have preliminary results and/or publications from their independent laboratory

Additional Details

The program will offer grants up to $75,000 total costs per year ($67,500 direct costs with a 10%-of-total IDC rate), each year for three years ($225,000 total).
