As a behavioral scientist, Dr. Cavallo studies the use of emerging communications technologies to reduce obesity-related mortality and morbidity. He has expertise in the areas of technology development and the design, implementation and analysis of behavioral interventions. His research focusing on technology development and behavioral interventions addresses risk factors for cancer and other health related conditions impacting underserved populations.
