Anastasia Martinez joined the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women at Case Western Reserve University as the Assistant Director for Programs. She has served in the education field for eight years. Prior to joining CWRU, Anastasia held various roles in non-profit work, the Higher Education and Student Affairs sector, and in 7th-12th grade education as a certified teacher. She holds an MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs and a BA in English from Ohio State as well as an MAT in Secondary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Anastasia's commitment and investment in education comes from her experiences as a Puerto Rican, CMSD educated, first-generation college student. Though the roles she has held in her professional career vary, the common thread is her passion for diversity, inclusion, and social justice. With these experiences and values in mind, Anastasia aspires to provide equitable and engaging opportunities for those she serves here at CWRU.
