Women in STEM Program Manager

Danielle Jones, PhD (she/her) is currently the Women in STEM Program Manager. In this role, she works with CWRU students, faculty, and staff to promote an equitable culture in STEM fields. As part of this work, Danielle supervises the student group WISER and helps organize the PRISE program. She also facilitates STEM allyship training and plans k-12 STEM programs with community organizations and local schools.
Previously, Danielle earned her master’s degree in anthropology and Ph.D. in neuroscience from Kent State University. In addition to conducting research on brain evolution, she served as a science instructor with Kent State Upward Bound and led STEM initiatives in Akron Public Schools.
