Julia Wasielewski

WISER President

Julia Wasielewski is a senior from Erie, Pennsylvania majoring in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, Julia hopes to work in the biomechanical engineering field and eventually get her masters degree. Julia is also a sister of Alpha Chi Omega. Outside of class and WISER Julia loves baking, crocheting, growing lots of succulents and plants, watercolor painting, calligraphy, reading, and playing with dogs (especially corgis.)

Rhea Lamba

Vice President

Rhea Lamba is a junior from Cupertino, California, and is majoring in Biomedical Engineering. Aside from WISER she is a member of Case Western’s Spartan Bhangra dance team, and the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. In her free time she enjoys painting, listening to her discover weekly playlist on Spotify, and getting Mitchell’s smoothies.

Prerna Mamileti

Vice President of Internal Affairs

Prerna Mamileti is a senior Biology major from San Jose, California who hopes to eventually pursue a career in medicine. She is passionate about WISER's mission to create a supportive community for women in STEM within and beyond the CWRU campus. Apart from WISER, she is involved with on-campus research, volunteers as an EMT with CWRU EMS, and is an RA for first-year students. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, listening to music, and exploring Cleveland.

Joelle Scott

Vice President of Public Relations

Joelle Scott is a fourth-year studying Chemical Engineering with plans to pursue a PhD after graduating. She is from the small town of Wheatfield, New York, in between Buffalo and Niagara Falls. When she is not WISERing, playing lacrosse, or doing research at CWRU, she enjoys hanging out with friends, making playlists on Spotify, running and traveling.

Kemi Ogundiran

Vice President of Finances

Kemi Ogundiran is a sophomore pre-medicine student from Katy, Texas majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Bioethics and Medical Humanities. She aspires to become a Pediatric Neurologist. This interest stems from her passion to help children like her autistic brother and her sister with intellectual disability. Apart from WISER, she is a member of Women's Varsity Track and Field, Vice President of CWRU for Autism Acceptance, and involved in a neuroscience research lab in the School of Medicine. In her free time she enjoys writing, playing the viola, reading, being outdoors, and traveling.

Carrie Stenger

Vice President of Outreach

Carrie is a senior from Ross, Ohio studying Biology with minors in Spanish, Nutrition, and Public Health on the Pre-Physician Assistant track. In addition to her role in WISER, she serves as President of the Pre-PA Club and of the Wellness and Health Ambassadors. Carrie enjoys spending her free time exploring Cleveland, making Spotify playlists, and trying new foods.

Christina Dang

Outreach Chair

Christina Dang is a sophomore from Parma, OH majoring in chemical engineering. Aside from WISER, she is also involved with Cru, InterVarsity, AIChE, and LUX. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, listening to music, and watching movies on Disney+.

Allison Kennedy

Advocacy Chair


Alison Kennedy is a senior polymer science and engineering major, and is also involved in the Society of Plastics Engineers, UgMSO, and the AIB. She enjoys jogging and going to the beach with friends. After graduation, she will be attending USC for a PhD in chemical engineering.

Sierra Bhatia

Virtual Engagement Chair


Sierra is a freshman from Naperville, Illinois studying biochemistry and neuroscience on the pre-med track. In addition to her support for women through WISER, Sierra is a volunteer tutor for girls interested in the STEM field. Sierra aspires to become a neurosurgeon, but hopes to always have enough time for community service. Her hobbies include travelling, painting, baking, and doing anything outdoors.

Olivia Kamlet

E-Week Coordinator

Olivia Kamlet is a sophomore from Columbus, Ohio majoring in chemical engineering. She is also involved on campus in CHAARG and the spartan running club. Olivia wants to run the Columbus marathon someday and has coached for Girls on the Run in her hometown and Sparties at CWRU. She is a big fan of coffee shops and her current favorites are Phoenix Coffee in Cleveland and Roosevelts in Columbus.

Varsha Krishnan

SEVA Outreach Coordinator

Varsha Krishnan is a sophomore from Potomac, Maryland majoring in Nutrition on the pre-medicine track. In addition to WISER, she is involved with the Know Your Neighbors Campaign,  Students Meeting About Risk and Responsibility Training (SMARRT), and is a sister of Alpha Chi Omega. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her dog, listening to music, and gardening in her backyard
