When your name is called to receive your diploma, you will walk to the reader, give him/her your card and then give your hood to your hooder (Dr. Lindell – MN graduates; Dr. Brooks – MSN graduates; Dr. Higgins or Academic Advisor – DNP graduates). It will help the person hooding you if you bend your knees (without leaning forward) to lower yourself so that the hood can be placed over your head. After you have been hooded, walk over to Dean Kerr to receive your diploma, pose for a picture and return to your seat.
