As Chris Hojdar embarked on an unexpected job search due to job loss during the COVID-19 pandemic, he noticed that Salesforce was frequently requested as a preferred or required skill in the types of jobs that interested him. So, Hojdar enrolled in the Salesforce Administrator Program with Case Western Reserve University as he felt it was a “best first step for adding a new skill or opening up a new career opportunity/path.”
Hojdar learned about the program through his LinkedIn feed and felt confident in enrolling in a course through CWRU based on the university’s reputation. “It did influence my decision, I felt that a certificate associated with CWRU would be more valued.”
Although Hojdar ended up taking a new position that doesn’t include Salesforce Administration in its job description, Hojdar hopes to use these newly earned skills in the future, perhaps even with the company where he is currently employed.
Hojdar shared that he enjoyed the class, it met his expectations, and he would recommend it to others, “especially someone looking to add to their existing skills or who works for a company that needs someone internal to add Salesforce Administration to their existing job.”
