Alumni Feature Stories for School Magazine

Do you have an interesting story to tell or professional experience to share? Do you know another alumnus who has an interesting story to tell? Please let us know and we will add to our alumni story bank, which is a list of possible alumni features for the school magazine. While there are no guarantees that all stories will be used, you will be contacted by a member of our publications team for additional information or an interview if your story will be featured.

Interviewing Prospective Students

With over 2,500 applications last year, alumni volunteers are critical in implementing quality interviews to supplement the admission process. Alumni volunteers thoroughly enjoy interviewing prospective students because it connects them to the process that brings the next generation of dentists to campus. After the admission committee admits students, you will receive information about the students you interviewed and will have the opportunity to congratulate those who were admitted. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student you interviewed enroll at the dental school. Except, of course, seeing them graduate.

As the competition among schools for the best students increases, so does our need for your help.

Talk with an Admitted Student

Volunteer to call admitted students who live in your geographic area. This program provides an opportunity for admitted students, who are still making their dental school decisions, to speak with our alumni about their experiences and career paths.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering and supporting the School of Dental Medicine and its programs.
