Bridget is the Research Compliance Officer of the School of Dental Medicine and serves as the School's primary resource for regulatory affairs and clinical research operations. Her responsibilities include ensuring adherence to institutional, local, and federal research regulations, facilitating the IRB submission process, working with external regulatory agencies, and oversight of the SODM Research Newsletter and School of Dental Medicine's Research website.
Additionally, Bridget is a current student at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in the Patent Practice/Intellectual Property program.
Bridget is a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (ACRP) and has prior experience in various areas of basic science, clinical trials, and outcomes research, including pediatrics, oncology, and international health.
In addition to her Research Compliance responsibilities, Bridget coordinates the clinical research projects within the Department of Biological Sciences.
