Finance Division

The Division is led by Case Western Reserve University's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, John F. Sideras.  The Division acts as custodian for the university's financial records and provides services that safeguard and grow the university's assets and enable students, faculty, staff, visitors and our community to excel in the advancement of learning and knowledge.

Executive Vice President and CFO

John was named the Interim Senior Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer of the University on May 1, 2008 and Senior Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer of the University in February, 2009.  Prior to ‌joining the university, John was President/Chief Executive Officer (2004-2008) and Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer (1998-2003) of The MetroHealth System (Cleveland, Ohio).  He previously held a variety of executive and finance-related positions with The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, University Hospitals of Cleveland, St. John West Shore Hospital, and St. Luke's Medical Center.  John maintains an active certified public accountant license in the State of Ohio.
