There are different levels of activity—and noise—that take place on the various floors of the Kelvin Smith Library. You might meet with a study buddy on the first floor, while the third floor may be a better choice when you need deep focus.

  • 1st floor—A high activity area featuring many of the library service points, including the Cramelot Cafe.
  • 2nd floor—A mid-level activity area with additional study, collaboration spaces and a tech-enabled classroom.
  • 3rd floor—A quiet study area with numerous desks that also houses the majority of the book and monograph collections.
  • Lower Level—A mid-level activity area that features a CWRU staffed Utech Help Desk, collaboration rooms and classrooms, and vending machines.
