As the Assistant Director for Customer Service, I act as the main point of communication between the students living in the Residential Facilities and the Offices of Housing and Facilities. I regularly review the Housing and Residence Life Database (HARLD) work order queue and track trends or irregularities in the problems being reported. If a resident has questions or concerns regarding their work requests, they can contact me and I will coordinate with the Assistant Directors of Facilities and any other relevant offices. I also maintain communication with the contracting groups who service our building's laundry machines, commercial appliances, and pest concerns. I oversee the programs and systems in place at our North and South Residential Area Offices.  The Area Offices serve as the central hub for residential mail and packages.  The offices also offer support for issues related to room keys, and we offer dry-cleaning services. The Area Office utilizes student employees, and so we hire and train several dozen student staff members each year.
