2019 Benelect Open Enrollment
Begins November 5th
Benelect Open Enrollment for 2019 is set to begin Monday, November 5th and run through Friday, November 30th. There are several opportunities to learn more about your 2019 benefit offerings. See below for dates and times of events. The 2019 Benelect guide, the new premium rate sheets, and instructions for making your elections in the online enrollment system are available here.
IRS Increases FSA Limit for 2019
Employees will be able to contribute more into their healthcare flexible spending accounts (FSA) in 2019, when the FSA contribution limit rises to $2,700. The IRS announced the change after the 2019 Benelect Open Enrollment materials were created. The open enrollment kit states the maximum allowable contribution as $2,650.
Employees wishing to increase their annual contribution to the new maximum amount of $2,700 for 2019, will need to make a new election through HCM during Open Enrollment.
