The David A. Bowers Economic Forecast Luncheon

(Fall) - Attendance Impact: 600

Hosted by the Weatherhead School of Management, this annual event features a prominent economist from Case Western Reserve University: Dr. Mark Sniderman, Executive in Residence, Department of Economics at the Weatherhead School of Management. Sniderman, whose previous career was with the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, will give his forecast on the U.S. economy and explain the factors that will influence the decision of consumers, businesses, and investors. He will also describe how international economic conditions are affecting domestic economic activity and share his insights on the Fed's monetary policy. 

Dialogue on Discovery

(Fall) - Attendance Impact: 200

Dialogue on Discovery is a symposium celebrating the research successes of Case Western Reserve School of Medicine's academic and clinical partnerships. It convenes researchers, community leaders, and friends to encourage multiple voices to participate in a dialogue on medical discoveries that advance health in our region and beyond.

E-Week: National Engineers' Week

(Winter) - Attendance Impact: 1,300

In appreciation of the university's renowned strengths in technology innovation and the role of engineers in society, E-week provides new opportunities to highlight the university's technological breakthroughs.

Fourth Global Forum

At the Fourth Global Forum from June 14-16, 2017, executives, entrepreneurs, and change agents will discover, design, and strategize around their own high-priority initiatives. Global, National, and local CEOs are attending with corporate teams to address respective business opportunities through Appreciative Inquiry work sessions and exchange at the forum.

Inamori Ethics Prize and Symposium

This annual award celebrates an internationally recognized individual who has demonstrated exemplary ethical leadership, and whose actions and influence have greatly improved the condition of humankind.

Unity Banquet

In a celebration of high-achieving minority graduates and Cleveland Scholarship Program award recipients, the banquet also raises scholarship funds for underrepresented students.

University Career Center Partners

(Fall & Spring) - Attendance Impact: 2,000

The Career Center Partners' Program gives employers an opportunity to develop an enhanced presence on campus and to be recognized as an “Employer of Choice” for CWRU students. Support of this program enables the Career Center to augment educational programming and services to students and alumni.

Weatherhead 100
