R. David Paulison has spent more than forty years as a public servant, rising from firefighter to fire chief, and eventually becoming the Director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in 2005 following Hurricane Katrina, greatly reforming the organization.
In this lecture, Paulison will reflect on the lessons learned over the course of his career, offering insights on leading a dynamic organization like FEMA, serving the American public, and the role of a leader.
