Simmi Singh is based in Egon Zehnder’s Chicago office and in her decade with the Firm, has played a founding and leadership role in the Firm’s professional services, digital and health work across North America. Simmi also helped create and shape its work with founder-led companies and played a founding role in shaping the Firm’s presence in Washington D.C.

She is an expert on governance and leadership development, counseling investors, founders and boards on governance matters, board appointments, leadership development and CEO successions. She has a
talent for helping companies to rapidly scale and maximize their potential as they transform and has worked in and with some of the most game-changing companies of the past two decades. Simmi has built entire management teams for growing companies, helping to transform the competitive and market position of her clients. She works intensively within the public policy realm, focusing on digital transformation and policy work across the health, technology and consumer sectors.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Simmi worked as an entrepreneur (SeraNova and Snap, Inc.), GM, operating and markets leader (CNA and Cognizant), investor and strategist (Revolution) and management consultant (Booz Allen and EY).

Simmi earned a BSc in mathematics, physics and chemistry from St. Joseph's College and an MBA in management information-decision systems from Case Western Reserve University. She has served as Senior Advisor on Health Innovation to the US Secretary of Health and Human Services, in governance roles (Director and Chair) at the Center of Health Information Management (CHIM) and Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS). She has guest lectured at Yale and MIT, been published in the MIT Sloan Quarterly and is a member of the Vice Provost's International Visiting Committee at her alma mater, Case Western Reserve University.
