Kelvin Smith Library announces new endowment for outgoing Vice Provost and Lindseth Family University Librarian

In recognition of Vice Provost and Lindseth Family University Librarian Arnold Hirshon's retirement from Case Western Reserve University and to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Kelvin Smith Library,
the Arnold Hirshon 25th Anniversary Excellence Fund has been created!

A commitment of $500,000 has been made towards a $1 million goal to ensure that KSL continues to meet the research needs of students and faculty for the next twenty-five years and also to honor Hirshon's transformational leadership.      GIVE NOW

Check back for more details about a celebration to be held Thursday, September 30, 2021, which will feature keynote speaker, Louis Menand, American critic, essayist and professor, best known for his Pulitzer-winning book The Metaphysical Club, an intellectual and cultural history of late 19th and early 20th century America. He was awarded the National Humanities Medal in 2015.
