The practice of interpreting Biblical text dates back nearly 2,000 years to the first rabbinic Midrashim. Visual artists have unique gifts for interpreting texts and unique tools for creating Midrash (rabbinical and scholarly interpretations of the Torah, Talmud and other sacred writings). Experience this tradition through the eyes of artists, gaining new insights into familiar stories and characters as Siona shares her vision and Midrashic interpretations in this presentation of her own work and many other artists.
