From the Greeks, the Babylonians, Judeo-Christian-Islamic, Aztec and more, this course will examine the diversity of origin stories as to how the world and universe came to be. So many stories, some so similar that it begs the question of where everyone traveled, and others unique to various cultures. Using books, handouts and presentations, we will examine, contrast and compare these stories and their influence on beliefs, on fiction and daily life.
