This course will examine the social and economic policies of the Biden administration in the context of the major challenges and threats facing the country - the great political divide, social, racial and economic disparities, declining infrastructure, climate change, the economic and other challenges coming out of the pandemic and threats to democracy.  The course will include a comparison of the U.S. with other countries and consider arguments supporting and opposing the Biden agenda.
