Filmmaker and celebrated screenwriter Yehonatan Indursky, creator of Shtisel, speaks about his show Autonomies, a dystopian drama set in an alternate reality of present-day Israel. A nation torn and divided by a wall into the secular “State of Israel,” with Tel Aviv as its capital, and the “Haredi Autonomy” in Jerusalem, run by the ultraOrthodox. Indursky speaks about the conception of the show, and the reality of the ultraOrthodox communities in Israel.

Autonomies is currently available on Amazon Prime. Access to the mini-series will be provided to those who have registered for this lecture one week prior.
