Immerse yourself in the markets and historic monuments of Old Delhi; explore New Delhi, the fast-paced, cosmopolitan capital that pays tribute to India’s rich past, yet boasts modern architecture and sites of political importance. Explore Humayun’s Tomb, and take a rickshaw ride through the bustling city streets to Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and busiest markets in Delhi.
We continue on to Jaipur, often called the Pink City” for the pinkish tint on the city’s stone buildings and then on to Agra and marvel at two of India’s most famous architectural jewels, the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal, one of the wonders of the world completed in 1648 by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.
