IntuBot, an automated robotic intubation device

Endotracheal intubation is one of the most common procedures performed worldwide in emergency departments and operating rooms. It is a complicated procedure susceptible to failure. IntuBot is designed to automate this procedure.

The current prototype is designed to be mechanically simple and easy to control. Automation focuses on finding the vocal cords using a miniature camera, which would be attached at the tip of the stylet and be self-driven to reach the vocal cords.
