Volunteering at the Maltz Center
The Maltz Performing Arts Center in University Circle seeks volunteers to assist at our many concerts, lectures and special events throughout the year.
Our trained volunteer ushers assist patrons at concerts and events year round. Ushers attend performances at no charge, and receive free parking. Ushers must volunteer at a minimum of one event per month, or twelve times over the course of a year. Join our team of enthusiastic ushers and have a ringside seat a Clveland's newest cultural arts venue.
Ushers assist at concerts, lectures, and special events by greeting the public, taking tickets, passing out programs, helping patrons with special needs and performing related tasks. Ushers may attend most performances as part of the assignment.
We seek dependable individuals who enjoy interacting with the public and appreciate our cultural programming. Reliability, timeliness and presentable grooming are also important considerations. Prior customer service experience and the ability to think proactively are also helpful. Ushers represent the University, as well as the performing artists, to members of the public from across the community.
We are proud of our dedicated usher corps and invite you to apply to join our team. For more information please email Front of House Manager Jordan Davis at firstname.lastname@example.org.
