Metastatic Disease - Lung Cancer - Case 3

A 56 year-old man presented with confusion and headache for two weeks. There was a history of a 30 pound weight loss over the last several months.

Metastatic Brain Tumor (Lung Cancer): Chest CT scans. Note the prominent mediastinal adenopathy in addition to the pleural based lesion in the left lung. Biopsy demonstrated small cell carcinoma of the lung. This was the primary tumor that resulted in the multiple metastatic brain lesions.
