Cerebellar and Posterior Cerebral Artery Infarctions: Intracranial MRA. Note the abrupt cut-off of the left posterior cerebral artery (PCA), whereas the middle cerebral arteries (MCAs) and anterior cerebral arteries (ACAs) are well seen. This picture is consistent with either an embolus from a proximal source (either proximal artery, aorta or heart). In this case, the etiology was found to be a right vertebral occlusion. |
