The Biochemistry Department offers both PhD and MS degrees.
The PhD degree is research-focused with most of the required coursework completed in the initial years. The MS in Biochemistry degree is primarily coursework with the opportunity to contribute to research while the new MS in Biotechnology is focused on hands-on experience.
Our department also offers dual-degree programs combining the MS in Biochemistry with a professional or second graduate degree.
