The Department of Bioethics and Neighborhood Family Practice have partnered on different research projects over the years.
The Department of Bioethics and Neighborhood Family Practice co-sponsored the Centering Pregnancy Documentary Gallery on October 4.
This gallery represented a step toward a more mutual community-university partnership, as we collaborated on a service project together.
This service project resulted in our team being embedded in the
Centering Pregnancy Program, which focused on learning from patients who were pregnant during a national pandemic.
Throughout the journey, women were invited to take images and share their narratives about these images, which reflected some of the experiences involved with pregnancy during this time.
The team at Neighborhood Family Practice invited some of their midwives to participate and share their images and narratives as part of National Midwifery Week.
