Research is a central mission of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and we think ours is world-class.

Our faculty conduct research across five different institutions and within more than 30 basic and clinical disciplines. Aside from the basic sciences featured below, our faculty conduct research in a variety of other fields including pediatrics, cancer, radiology, urology, neurology and neurological surgery, medicine and family medicine, dermatology, anesthesiology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, emergency medicine, otolaryngology, rehabilitation, surgery, plastic surgery, psychiatry, and reproductive biology.
