What is the Peru Health Outreach Project (PHOP)?
PHOP is a student run global health project that culminates each year with a trip to Peru where educational and medical services are provided. Leading up to the trip, participants are active in planning educational topics, fundraising, and developing research projects. Positions are available for student leadership.

Participants develop and orchestrate a daily health fair for patients, have the opportunity to shadow Peruvian and American healthcare providers, and practice Spanish speaking skills. Physicians and other licensed health care providers participating on the trip will be seeing patients during the trip, working with/teaching medical students, and assisting in the health fair.
