The Checklist

The onboarding checklist is your complete guide to everything you need to get started on as a future MSA Student. This is the “master” list of what you need to do. Supplemental documentation is available below.

Background Check and Drug Screen

All admissions to the CWRU MSA Program are contingent upon successful passing of the background check. The background check and drug screen must be started within three business days of receiving your welcome email acknowledging receipt of your tuition deposit. Do not delay the start of this process as it could adversely affect your admission to the program.

Complete instructions for ordering your background check are available here.

Immunizations

All MSA students must be compliant with the required immunizations to begin their studies at CWRU. The MSA Program utilizes the MedicatOne program to monitor student immunization compliance. Do not delay in uploading your immunizations to MedicatOne – many students are surprised to learn they are not 100% compliant and have to scramble to get their missing vaccinations and/or titers done right before the April 15th deadline, as not all immunizations may be given together (i.e. Covid vaccines may not be given in conjunction with any other immunization ). Also, as information regarding immunizations by the program, university or partner institutions may evolve over the course of the year, please check back here frequently for any updates to the requirements or process. We will also email you of any changes that take place as soon as that information is available.

Instructions for opening your MedicatOne account are available here.

The list of MSA Program required immunizations is available here.

Financial Aid

Many students have questions regarding their financial aid status early on in the process. The School of Medicine’s Office of Financial Aid is ready to assist you in this process and is your best resource for your financial aid questions. More information is available here.

Contact
