John Dombrowski has been a practicing anesthesiologist for the past 18 years. As a native Washingtonian he attended college at the University of Richmond graduated with honors with a degree in biology and chemistry. Dr. Dombrowski then went on to Georgetown university and obtained a Masters degree in physiology. He then stayed on and entered Georgetown school of medicine and graduated in 1989.
Dr. Dombrowski then did a year of internal medicine at Yale University and then finished his anesthesiology training at Yale University in 1992.
Dr. Dombrowski is a practicing anesthesiologist with a special interest in pain medicine.
He is also on the board of directors for the American side of anesthesiology. He is currently the chair of the communications committee. Dr. Dombrowski has served on several ASA committees: pain medicine, communications, anesthesia care team, economics, political action committee. He was also involved in anesthesiology assistants review of educational programs
At the present time Dr. Dombrowski is in private practice in Washington DC. He currently serves as the medical director for the Case Western Reserve anesthesiology assistant training program.
