Angela Tagliaferri joined the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center as the Associate Director of Finance and Operations in September 2013. Prior to her role in the Cancer Center, she worked in the Department of Ophthalmology/Visual Sciences Research Center starting in 2008.
In her current role, Angela is responsible for both the fiscal and general operations of the Cancer Center and National Center for Regenerative Medicine. She manages all non-sponsored funds (operating and endowment) and is responsible for all budget and forecasting provided to the School of Medicine. In addition, Angela serves as the administrator for all primary faculty appointed to the Center. In her operations role, Angela manages all Cancer Center space in Wolstein, in addition to overseeing the purchase and maintenance of all shared equipment. Angela’s team oversees all Human Resource activities, including faculty and staff hiring processes and approving all annual reviews, primary faculty grants’ management, and space and equipment inventory.
Angela attended Cleveland State University where she obtained a BBA in Business Statistics and has her Master of Science in Epidemiology from Case Western Reserve.
Prior to joining the Case Western Reserve University, Angela worked at Progressive Insurance for over 11 years, working in cash management, internal audit, and website data analysis.
