The Council of State Neurological Societies (CSNS) of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons selected Fernando Alonso, MD, as a CSNS Socioeconomic Fellow for the 2016-2017 term. The purpose of the fellowship is to train residents to gain competence and understanding of the full spectrum of socioeconomic issues impacting neurosurgery.
