Two post-graduate courses were hosted by the Department of Neurological Surgery. The Skull Base Neurosurgery Fellowship course was held on August 28 – 29, 2018. The course included lectures and hands-on cadaver dissections supervised by neurosurgeons demonstrating posterolateral transtemporal surgical approaches as well as endoscopic endonasal anatomy and surgical options. The honored speaker was Charles Teo, M.D. who is the director of the Centre of Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Sydney, Australia. Other faculty included: Dr. Paul Gardner (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center), Drs. Peter Nakaji and Joseph Zabramski from Barrow Neurological Institute, Dr. Pablo Recinos of the Department of Neurology at the CCF and Dr. Louis Kim of the University of Washington. Local faculty included Drs. Yin Hu as well as Drs. Cliff Megerian, Kenny Rodriquez, Maroun Semaan and Sarah Mowry from the Department of Otolaryngology. The course was sponsored by the CNS.
