Research Information

Research Interests

Dr. Dent has been working with Dr. Kazura on malaria immunology since 2003 and spent 9 months in Melbourne working with WEHI collaborators. She has been involved in the development and application of multiple immunologic assays (functional antibody assays, multiplex haplotype-specific PCR, multiplex serologic antibody assays), and will oversee and participate in the study design, protocol approval process, sample processing, assay development, and performance. She has experience working with Kenyan colleagues and manages a multi-site project focusing on infant malaria immunology.
