Submit a Story
Thank you for your interest in contributing to the PHAB Stories Project. If you haven’t yet read through some of the previously published stories, doing so will provide a sense of their style and tone. We prefer a journalistic style of writing to help span boundaries across disciplines, and to make the stories accessible to a variety of readers. Please also see, What makes a story PHAB? and our Guidelines for Interviews.
Three Submission Formats
We offer three methods for submitting stories, described below. Please choose the format that best suits your story idea and writing style.
Submit a story based on your own experience.
If you've participated in a boundary-spanning experience, consider telling the story in your own words. The Guidelines for Interviews might help shape your narrative. When your story is complete, fill out the Submit a Story form.
Submit an interview
Do you know someone whose experience would make a good story? If so, you can use our questions (plus any of your own) to conduct an interview. When you’ve written it up, fill out the Submit a story based on an Interview form.
We'll write the story for you
Do you know someone whose experience would make a good story, but would prefer that we write the story? If so, you can use our questions (plus any of your own) to conduct an interview. When your interview is complete, follow the process on the Submit Interview Q&A to be written up by PHAB page, and we'll write the story for you.
