Dr. Yin is passionate about teaching and Physician Assistant education.  He believes that Physician Assistants are the future of medicine.  Dr. Yin has served as preceptor for countless CWRU medical students, Tri-C Physician Assistant students, MetroHealth Emergency Medicine Residents, and University Hospital Internal Medicine Residents.  He has numerous publications, developed a EKG course that is still taught at MetroHealth Medical Center and pioneered a academic track for future Emergency Medicine attendings.

Dr. Yin believes that the future of medicine lies within education.  Proper teaching, guidance, and mentorship to Physician Assistants benefit our patients and ultimately the community in which we live.  He believes medicine is our trade. Whether patients are in the office, emergency room, operating room, or hospital bed, they inherently want the best — the best answers, the best providers, the best communication. They want caregivers who are confident and experienced. “I wake up every day wanting to be the best — not just for myself, but for the people who have come asking for help. I hope to instill this same desire and drive into the healthcare providers of our future. Because they are the ones who will be caring for us someday.”
