Aaron Baker-AAPA Liaison
While beginning my leadership experience at the University of Findlay, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, I continued on in leadership as Assembly of Representatives representative at CWRU. Within this position, I serve as a liaison between AAPA and the PA class while also engaging in discussion with students and national leaders on current issues impacting the PA profession and education. If time permits, I spend most of it being outdoors, traveling, and testing new hobbies.
Stephanie Cyphers-Inter-Society Representative
I attended Quinnipiac University for my undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor's in Health Science Studies with a minor in Spanish. I am the Inter-Society representative for the PA Class of 2020, which is a society that combines the medical student societies and PA society to plan social events, and I hold a board position for the Student Run Health Clinic. Before PA school, I spent some time with medical volunteering abroad in Peru and I hope to do more through mission trips in the future.
Rachel Fredericksen-Co-Chair Wellness Committee
I have a BA in Biology from the University of Vermont. I am one of the co-chairs for the PA Program Wellness Committee. When I’m not studying, I enjoy running and cooking Mexican food.
Casey Helms-Class Vice President, Committee of Student Representatives
I attended Ohio Wesleyan University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in exercise science and a minor in biology, and also played men's lacrosse. Subsequently, I earned a Master of Science in exercise physiology/adult fitness from The University of Akron. I am Vice President of the PA Class of 2020, as well as the representative for the PA program on the Case Med Committee of Student Representatives.
Kramer Kamp – IPE Student Governance Work Group
I graduated from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan in 2016 with a degree in Health Sciences and minor in Spanish. I currently serve on the IPE Student Governance Work Group to help facilitate the big move to the new Health Education Campus. When not studying I enjoy hiking, camping, and skiing.
Claire Kintner-Student Society’s Outreach Co-Chair
Prior to PA school, I attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Spanish. I currently serve as the Student Society's Outreach Co-Chair and represent the PA program within CWRU's Biomedical Graduate Student Organization. I am from Pittsburgh, PA so I don't support the Browns or Ohio State, but I love Cleveland as a city and have had fun exploring with my classmates and building relationships here!
Lauren Peters-Outreach Coordinator and Oral Health Coordinator
I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2015 with a degree in Biomolecular Science. At Case, I serve as an Outreach Coordinator and Oral Health Coordinator. I was raised in the Metro Detroit area and in my spare time I love reading, gardening, and hiking with my pup, Pepper!
Brittany McFarland-OAPA Liaison
Before beginning my journey at CWRU, I received my Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science with a concentration in Forensic Biology from Eastern Kentucky University. I currently hold the PA State Chapter Student Representative position for the CWRU PA Class of 2020 where I am the liaison between the Ohio Association of Physician Assistants and our program. In my free time I love spending time with my family and trying all of the great restaurants in the Cleveland area.
Selena Nguyen-Class Treasurer
I am the Treasurer for the PA Program! I'm from Michigan and went to the University of Michigan (Go Blue!!), where I received my B.S. in Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience. I've already learned so much from my short time in the program already and am excited to keep learning and exploring my new vibrant home of Cleveland!
Bianca Placucci-IPE Governance Work Group, Wellness Co-Chair
I was born in Brazil, raised in south Florida, and attended Florida State University where I earned two bachelor degrees in Biology and Psychology. Prior to PA school, I was a high school Biology teacher for five years and the Science Department Chair for the past three years. I am currently the PA director for the Student Run Health Clinic, Wellness Co-chair, and a IPE Governance Work Group Representative.
Jazmine Robinson-Student Diversity Committee Representative
I am currently the PA Hudson Society Student Diversity Committee Representative. I received a BS in Chemistry from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. I love watching football and basketball. I am from NY but I love the New England Patriots.
Rachel Rosinski-Class Secretary
I graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in Human Biology with a minor in Spanish (Go Green!) I am secretary of the PA Hudson Society and Class if 2020 as well as one of the coordinators of the mentor ship program. I have a Golden Retriever that I love and my favorite activities to de-stress are running and painting.

I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in Biology. I am a co-chair for the Biomedical Graduate Student Organization. I chose this program because of the fantastic clinical opportunities available and saw the great potential that this program has.
Edwin Vences-Class President
I have a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of St. Thomas – Houston. I am the President of the PA Class of 2020 and Interprofessional Community Service Committee PA Student Representative. I chose CWRU PA Program because of its strong affiliation with the Cleveland Clinic and its large involvement in giving back to the community through our service as PA students. CWRU is really the place to be for a world-renowned PA education!
