Vascular and Interventional

Vascular and Interventional radiology offers a one-year fellowship for one position per year that studies all facets of vascular and interventional imaging procedures. Fellows will have the opportunity perfect their skills in a wide variety of interventions offered at our institution including:

  • Local and regional tumor therapy
    • Chemoembolization
    • Radioembolization
    • Radiofrequency ablation
    • Cryoablation
  • Transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS)
  • Central line placement
  • Angioplasty
  • Catheter-directed thrombolysis
  • Inferior vena cava (IVC) filtration
  • Vascular stenting
  • Fibroid embolization
  • Pediatric interventions

All applicants are expected to have completed a United States residency training program in diagnostic radiology prior to starting this fellowship. We are actively applying for updated classification in accordance with the changes to the interventional radiology residency programs.
